SENIOR DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE
Dept/Division : Ayala Foundation - USA (AFUSA) /

Location : AFI- BPI Office
Description of the Job :
The position directly reports to the Manager - AFUSA, and is tasked to assist in the partner relations, logistical and administrative functions of Ayala Foundation - USA. Specifically, the job holder will perform the following tasks:
- Screen and process Grant Eligibility Applications and make recommendations (of approval or no approval) to the CSD Director or AFUSA Manager
- Process release of funds to local recipients
- Track potential recipients for cases of donor initiated donations
- Inform partners of donations received
- Gather reports from partner recipients
- Do capability-building activities for partner organizations
- Do research and draft GILAS proposals for US-based funders
- Maintain database of partners, mailing lists and other contacts
- Maintain the filing system i.e. individual partner files, active correspondences, transmittal letters, etc.
- Do administrative and logistical tasks for the unit i.e. prepare events, request for supplies, transportation, etc.
- Lend support in the following:
- Recruitment of Philippine partner organizations
- Coordination and liaison work with partner groups
- Active campaigning to recruit more schools, colleges, and universities
- Campaign activities for GILAS and other special projects
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor
Selection Criteria :
- Graduate of any course with at least two years work experience
- With above-average computer skills, specifically MS Office
- Open to multi-tasking and task-sharing, people oriented and pleasant.

DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE
Dept/Division : Youth Leadership Development Unit /
Center for Social Development (CSD)
Location : AFI BPI Office
Description of the Job :
The position directly reports to the Manager for YLDU and is tasked to perform administrative functions. Specifically, the jobholder will perform the following tasks:
- Handle the general logistics concerns of the Youth Leadership Development Unit (YLDU)
- Maintain a database of the YLDU suppliers (i.e. food, accommodation, transportation)
- Serve as property custodian
- Take charge of the inventory, requisition, purchase, replenishment, distribution of materials/equipment relative to the needs and project cycle of YLDU
- Create a manual/guidebook for reimbursement, booking, travel arrangement, and event management
- Coordinate with the consultants' flights and transportation, and other needs that may arise
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor
Selection Criteria :
- Graduate of any business course
- With at least one year work experience
- Has excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Has above average typing/clerical and people skills
- Can work under minimal supervision
- Detail and out-put oriented, analytical, punctual, adaptable, disciplined and takes initiative
- With basic skills in computer software applications: MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge in database handling programs is an advantage

DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE
Dept/Division : Text2Teach Project /
Center for Social Development (CSD)
Location : AFI BPI Office
Description of the Job :
The position directly reports to the Manager - Text2Teach and is tasked to provide administrative and fundraising support to Text2Teach operations and fundraising activities. Specifically, the job holder will perform the following tasks:
- Prepare proposals/introduction letters/presentations for prospective donors and partners
- Coordinate, set and attend, when necessary, preliminary/coordination/post meetings with prospective donors and partners
- Prepare and submit monthly activity/donation status report and input all prospect/donor call reports and required information with regard to program responsibilities (i.e. public sector)
- Provide assistance to special events relative to program/project responsibility
- Provide administrative support to his/her immediate supervisor
- Prepare ongoing and final Donor Reports with regard to program responsibilities
- Ensure Text2Teach donors/schools database contains accurate, up-to-date information
- Update annual accomplishment reports, and other marketing/communication materials
- Assist in the conceptualization of Text2Teach website and once up, maintain the website and ensure that it contains accurate and up-to-date information
- Perform our related functions that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor
Selection Criteria :
- College graduate, preferably in political science, business management, or social/community development course
- Above average documentation, negotiation, research, coordination and office management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Advanced skills in computer MS Office applications
- Hard working, persevering, responsible, people oriented

DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE
Dept/Division : Solid Waste Management (SWM) Program
/ Center for Social Development (CSD)
Location : AFI BPI Office
Description of the Job :
The position directly reports to the Manager - SWM. Specifically, the job holder will perform the following tasks:
- Develop Information Education Communication (IEC) materials for the GREEN Program
- Manage advocacy campaign of networking activities
- Supervise and document Ayala Recyclables Fair and other special events: Earth Day, Environment Month, etc.
- Prepare monthly/annual progress reports
- Prepare communication materials: letters, news articles, collaterals, etc.
- Provide technical support to Ayala Social Initiatives
Selection Criteria :
- College graduate major in Social Sciences/Environment
- Above average oral and written communication skills
- Has skills in conceptualization and designing of IEC materials
- Adequate skills in coordination and monitoring of activities, networking and research
- An advocate of the environment
- Eager to learn, results-oriented, people-oriented, honest and committed
