Ayala gives gift of Cory Magic

Ayala, ABS-CBN, the Lopez Group Foundation, and Meralco paid tribute to President Corazon Aquino with the publication of Cory Magic.
The Cory Magic coffee table book gathered some of the most moving and memorable images from the week following Aquino's death last year. The book also tells Cory's story, in the words of eight people who worked alongside her and knew her best. These essays are strung together by anecdotes from over a hundred men and women who did not know Cory personally, but were touched by her death and inspired by the example of her life. The book chronicles not only the country's farewell to President Aquino, but snapshots from the Martial Law days with Ninoy, as well as her years in Malacanang.
Ayala Foundation and the members of the Ayala group of companies distributed these books to partner schools on behalf of Ayala Corporation. It is hoped that the book will capture the imagination of the youth and inspire them to learn more about their leaders.
Ayala Foundation has distributed a total of 506 books to schools that it has partnered with for its various education programs: Text2Teach, Gearing Up Internet Literacy and Access for Students (GILAS), and the Education and Livelihood Skills Alliance (ELSA), and Center of Excellence in Public Elementary Education (CENTEX).
