See you at the upcoming Macquarie Run on February 25, 2018.
It is the Macquarie Fun Run season once again. This year, the organization is encouraging everyone to #RunTogether and #HelpTogether as proceeds will be donated to Ayala Foundation’s CENTEX program as well as the education needs of the children in war-torn Marawi.
For 2018, you not only get to help CENTEX students and teachers but also the children in Marawi.
The run will be held February 25, 2018, 5:30am. This is the only public run held in Ayala Triangle, with race categories ranging from 1.2K (kiddie run), 3K, 5K, and 10K.
Macquarie started this project in 2013 as part of their corporate social responsibility program. They have partnered with Ayala Foundation and have been generously sponsoring the CENTEX education program.
This cause has helped out significant number of CENTEX students in their feeding program that covers 150 students who are most in need, student enrichment programs such as after-hours music programs, educational trips, and resources for extended learning. Other than the students, the teachers also benefit from the run, as part of the funds goes to their teacher development program.
Beyond CENTEX, Macquarie is also expanding its reach to the education needs of the children in Marawi. Plans of coming up with interventions in education are also under way, through Ayala Foundation and the Ayala group of companies.
