Ayala Foundation, Analog Devices, and EMPI Formalize Partnership to Turn Recoverable Waste Into Community Impact

Ayala Foundation, Analog Devices, and Envirocare Management Precision, Inc. (EMPI) formalized a strategic partnership to advance Circular Habit, a sustainability initiative that transforms recoverable waste into measurable environmental outcomes and meaningful community contributions.

Circular Habit, an initiative of EMPI for the benefit of Ayala Foundation, promotes circular economy principles by helping organizations convert waste streams into resources that can support social impact. The program encourages a shift in mindset—from viewing waste as a liability to recognizing it as a resource that can generate environmental, social, and economic value.

Through the partnership, the three organizations aim to institutionalize the advocacy of donating recoverable waste, while supporting the sustained delivery of Ayala Foundation’s programs in education, community development, leadership development, arts and culture, and corporate citizenship and volunteerism.

“The formalization of the strategic partnership between Analog Devices, Inc. and the Ayala Foundation marks a significant milestone in corporate citizenship and social development.

This alliance is built on the premise that complex societal challenges cannot be solved in isolation; rather, they require a synergy of technological expertise, resource optimization, and community involvement.

We are truly grateful to Analog Devices for seeing the value of this partnership to build thriving communities around the country.,” said Paul Mercado, Senior Director, Ayala Foundation.

The partnership also seeks to establish a scalable and replicable model for Circular Habit advocates, both for external partners and across Ayala Group business units. By bringing together the private sector, sustainability practitioners, and social development organizations, the initiative demonstrates how everyday business practices can contribute to broader community outcomes.

In welcoming the Ayala Foundation and EMPI teams, Dindo Borlasa, Managing Director of Analog Devices Philippines, emphasized how fortunate it is to be part of a company with a strong sense of purpose. He reflected on Analog Devices’ commitment to accelerate human breakthroughs that enrich the lives and the world around us.

“Through this partnership, we aim to strengthen waste management systems, promote accountability, and uphold standards that safeguard and protect our environment.

We look forward to a fruitful and enduring partnership with ADI and Ayala Foundation, and we reaffirm our dedication to working hand-in-hand in advancing environmental protection and sustainable practices.” said Mr. Ariel M. Entico, President and Chief Executive Officer of Envirocare Management Precision, Inc.

The memorandum of agreement was signed on June 18, 2026 at the Analog Devices facility in Gateway Business Park, General Trias, Cavite. Signatories included Paul Vincent Mercado, Senior Director for Marketing and External Relations and Ludette Christie G. Domingo, OIC – Chief Financial Officer of Ayala Foundation, Dindo Borlasa, Managing Director of Analog Devices, and Ariel M. Entico, President & CEO of EMPI.

Through Circular Habit, the partners affirm their shared commitment to sustainability, collaboration, and building thriving communities.
